Women stand tall in society

I know we have Mother's Day to say thank you to Mother's, Grand-Mother's or Great-Grand-Mother's but I feel that saying thank you to women within a family should be everyday. For example, we need to be grateful for the time women take in caring for their families.

Lets take the women in my family:

1.  My Great- Grand Mother's Blanche and Florence (Dad's family). Elizabeth and Catherine (Mum's family). These women were very brave. All these women had more than four children and all of the children were born at home.  Each of their families relied on them to help in different ways.  Even though each Great Grand-Mother had to struggle at times, they were the starting point for family life within our family.  I love and say thank you all these women, for showing the family the way within life.

2. My Grand-Mother's, Mary (Dad's family) and Agnes (Mum's family).  These women were very strong because of their upbringing and along with my Grand-Father's raised children during the depression years (before the 2nd World War).  They  also know that life wasn't meant to be easy but make the best of the your life. Two great ladies who I love and say thank you.

3. My  Mum (Vera).  This ladies was the greatest Mum in the world (well I think so). Along with my Dad, she provided a great home life, and never neglected her children. I love you Mum and always will remember you as an awesome Mum.

I know that some Mother's are not like my Mum or the other women in  my family. I think  my Grand- Mother Mary said it beautifully, such as, "It doesn't matter who your Mother is/was, or where she comes from, she is you still your Mother."
