Depression

This month's article is about depression. Depression is not a dirty word (as some might think), it is reality!

At sometime within a person's life he or she may suffer some depression and in some cases it can  be quite severe. However, if people recieve the right treatment then life can be better. I know this for a fact because my Mother and myself have been through depression and survived. Here is some information which may be useful:

a. Do not let anyone tell you that you are mentally disturbed (if you are depressed).

b. Depression is a common factor within our society.

c. You are not alone (there are alot of people, who have depression).

d. Seek help. Counselling (Social Workers or Psychologists), your local Doctor, or if you a believer in God then a Minister, Pastoral Care worker or a prayer group.
